Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

The Croft Hotel and Raffles Restaurant recognises the importance of its environmental impact on the planet and its social responsibility to the local community.  We have implemented the following to show this: -

• We recycle all cardboard and paper where possible
• Where possible we use local supplies to reduce emmission
• All heating/hot water is gas powered and time controlled to reduce consumption of non-renewable fuel, all radiators have been fitted with thermostatic valves
• We calculate the benefits of using all energy efficiently including all electrical appliences being turned off when applicable
• We donate to charitable events and causes when required including holding events for local charities

In circumstances when access to the hotel and restaurant cannot be given due to the age and layout of the building we will endeavor to provide an alternative means of access or location.  Below is a few points of our achievements so far.

• Designated disabled parking
• Disabled accessible cottage
• Public WC
• Ramps to most areas of the hotel including function room
• Restaurant, Bar, Function room all located on the ground floor
• Assistance dogs welcome
